Irshad Quraishi & Azad Quraishi, young college students, inspired and enthusiastic to know about the achievements of leading Social Workers of the area and decided to follow the foot steps of social workers and accordingly set up an organization in close association with other like minded youth of Hajipur locality to do some fruitful work for the poor and resourceless communities of the area. Thus ,Big Moon foundation has been set up and got registered under the Section-8 company act-2013, with the vision and mission. Big Moon foundation since then working for the poor and Resourceless households relentlessly ensuring that the population of this category may lead dignified life in the society. to uplift children less fortune to procure their basic education, along with the running project we realized that only education isn’t sufficient we also need to provide low-cost nutrition and healthy food as we found many children malnourished, thereafter we faced issues on adolescence’s girls school attendance during their menstrual days, due to lack of facilities sanitary pads and superstitious believe. We started educating adolescence girls on feminine hygiene. Building unrestrained environment for adolescent girls and women, how to manage your routine during menstruation. We also conduct many curricular activities for all round development of children, the aim of education imparted should be to bring changes not only in the amount of knowledge gained but also in the abilities to do so, to think and acquire habits, skills and attitude, which characterize an individual who is socially accepted and adjusted to stand up on their own feet.
